Oh my goodness! I can’t believe that’s me!

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe that’s me! 

It all started after my brilliant sister bought me the most amazing present… eleven personal training sessions. I had just had my third baby and felt a desperate need to get my body back, I really didn’t want to be a frumpy mummy. With Lucy and Mikes support and encouragement, I’ve gained a level of fitness and a body that I wouldn’t have thought possible. 

Thai boxing with Mike on a Monday sets me up for the rest of week. I love it! There is something immensely enjoyable about walloping a punch bag and I love the sound of the thwack as my gloves hit the pads. I can really let go! Mike is fantastic at keeping me on my toes, introducing new boxing moves and making me laugh. His easy going manner made me feel comfortable stepping in the ring even though I’d never done any form of boxing before. Everyone should try it! 

Lucy’s sessions are amazing, she is ingenious at coming up with different exercises (although I’m not always sure she doesn’t just want to make me look silly). Each session is never the same and she always pushes me to the max. I feel like I’m meeting up with a really good friend with Lucy, only for a natter and work out instead of a coffee and doughnut. I don’t know how she does it but I always ache after a session with her even though I may not have lifted a weight. Clever! 

I am well and truly addicted to these two fantastic people and all they have helped me achieve. I can’t thank them enough for all their encouragement and support over the past year.
