Bridie studied sport and exercise science at Leeds Beckett University, graduating with a first class honours in July 2016. Bridie has always had a keen interest in sport and during her studies her passion for changing peoples’ lives amplified. Bridie’s course allowed her to gain an extensive and diverse level of knowledge and in her final years excelled and took a keen interest in nutrition and physiology learning to apply her knowledge to sporting and clinical scenarios.
Sport has been central to Bridie’s life and has moulded her into the person she is today. Bridie was a competitive swimmer, in her time belonging to Tonbridge SC and Royal Tunbridge Wells Monson SC, gaining county and regional titles. It has shown her the need for hard work and dedication and given her the opportunity to be a part of and lead a team. Bridie coached her swimming team on a group and individual basis and also has experience in coaching a variety of sports such as football, rounders and netball.
Bridie appreciates how much “a little goes a long way” and is 100% willing to go above and beyond to help people on their journey and development when joining Better Body Group.
