Dan has recently joined the Better Body Group Team and has a strong Rugby background. Being brought up within a keen sporting family encouraged Dan to participate in a variety of sports from an early age which has allowed him to gain a greater understanding of how the body works in various sporting demands.
Studying Sports Performance and Excellence at College alongside the Saracens Academy gave Dan a foundation of knowledge which lead him onto University where he studied Sports Analysis and Coaching at Kingston, achieving a 2:1 Honours Degree. Whilst in his final year he gained a 3 month internship alongside Rugby Premiership side Wasps, here he worked closely with the academy department in the development of their athletes. It was his time at University and Wasps where his passion for sport performance grew, and he went onto develop and implement a strength and conditioning program for the University rugby team.
Dan has also been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel the Southern Hemisphere where he spent a year in Auckland playing rugby for a season.
After University, Dan secured a position as a Rugby Development Officer in Stevenage. This role consisted of developing junior and senior players to improve their game, understanding and conditioning to enable them to be at the top of their game throughout the season. He thoroughly enjoyed working closely with the juniors to develop their SAQ skills and saw huge improvements over the course of the season.
Dan’s friendly and approachable personality will enable you to work together to achieve your goals. His enthusiasm for health and fitness alongside his experience with a range of individuals will be sure to take you to the next level.
