Ellis graduated from the University of Northampton with a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science. During his time at university he was lucky enough to work with the strength and conditioning team at Northampton Saints RFC working with youth players from the elite player development squad.
Ellis grew up playing rugby union and then made the transfer to rugby league whilst studying at university. Whilst studying at university Ellis had brief spells playing rugby league for the championship side Hemel Stags.
Since retiring from rugby due to injury Ellis has decided to try his hand at amateur bodybuilding and competed in his first competition in April 2017! Ellis’ own personal experience in sport means he has developed excellent skills in helping people with rugby specific training, increasing muscle mass, reducing body fat and generally improving health whilst having fun!
