Sports Rehabilitator & Women’s Health Specialist
Hannah is part of the management team at the Better Body Group, where she leads with a dedicated focus on women’s health. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation from the University of Cumbria and has since built on her expertise with a Level 3 Sports Massage qualification, a Rock Tape qualification, alongside a Pre and Post Natal Exercise Specialist. Never standing still, Hannah is currently continuing her studies to deepen her knowledge and further expand the ways she can support women.
Her passion lies in empowering women to feel strong, confident and healthy at every stage of life. She believes women deserve more than a “one-size-fits-all” approach, and her practice reflects that. As part of her assessment process, Hannah integrates advanced tools such as RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) testing or VO₂ testing alongside, a 3D Styku body scan and a functional movement screen. To gain a detailed understanding of each client’s unique physiology and movement patterns, far beyond what can be seen externally. Hannah strongly believes that effective training starts with testing, and by using these insights she can design evidence-based individualised programmes that address each woman’s unique physiology, goals and lifestyle.
For Hannah, this data driven approach isn’t about numbers alone, more importantly to empower. By helping her clients understand their bodies on a deeper level, she gives them the tools and confidence to take control of their health and wellbeing. Whether guiding women through safe pre and post-natal exercises, supporting women through hormonal changes or building strength and resilience with tailored programmes. Hannah’s mission is to create a supportive environment where every woman feels valued and capable.
Outside the gym, Hannah enjoys yoga, long walks, and running, all of which reflect her belief in balance, strength and movement for life.
She often draws inspiration from exercise physiologist Dr. Stacy Sims, who said:
“Women are not small men. Stop eating and training like one.”
At Better Body Group, Hannah’s vision is clear: to combine science, compassion and empowerment to help women of all backgrounds feel strong in both body and mind.

Testimonials
Before joining BBG I had episodes of exercise and healthy eating regimes, but nothing lasted more than 2-3 months. When I started at BBG I decided to approach things differently and set myself a longer goal of a year… I was curious to see how a year of making good food choices and exercising would affect my body.
I’ve never felt better mentally or physically. My journey has involved a little trial and error to find out what works for me in terms of classes/ personal training/ food/ exercise/ daily steps, and in the last few months I’ve really settled into a regime that works for me.
Thank you guys, for my sessions. Sam and Hannah, you’re always so friendly and supportive and pushing me and I feel really proud of the weights I am lifting at the moment. You’ve been there for the dips when I’ve needed a motivational pep talk or to mix up sessions by doing something different. You’ve always been there for the highs where we have a little celebration of the progress made. I do enjoy our little chats and really appreciate the support you’ve given me to reach my goals.
Like most of us woman, dieting has been a constant torn in my side for most of my adult life, yo-yo up and down and never maintaining the lose!
Four years ago under the watchful eye of Lucy, I again managed to lose 2 stone and this time it was my body that gave up on me and I started with back troubles and I convinced myself that I couldn’t go back into the gym and carry on exercising because it would hurt too much and then began the return of the weight and four years on it had doubled.
Like I say to everyone who comes into BBG you have to be in the right mindset to start this journey yet again and this happened in June of this year, with the arrival of my first grandchild in August I decided that I wasn’t going to be the fat granny in the photographs and I wanted to be able to bend down without been in pain and the task fell on Hannah Armah to get me there.
Hannah has been absolutely amazing over the last 4mths and has listened to me and taken on board my goals and worries. She has listened to me moan and say I can’t do it and never let me give up. I can hand in heart say that throughout the whole journey my back has not hurt once which is a testament to Hannah as that is no easy feat when you add in my hyper mobility and dodgy knees.
She has made time for me even when she has been busy and has even put up with me training with her (baby weights for me and big girl ones for her)
I have landed up smashing my goals within the 4mths which I had set for December and have dropped 20kg and 4 dresses. Still one more dress size to go but that is our next goal! So, to all of you over 40’s that think we are a lost cause, you just need a goal and a Hannah, and you can do this too!!
Yes, the hard work is still to come but this time I’m going to keep it off under the watchful eye of Hannah (no pressure Hannah!).
