From a young age Ellie learnt the discipline, mentality and enjoyment of the sporting world through her high-level training in General Gymnastics and Trampolining. Ellie later projected her love for the sport and enhanced her passion for helping others through the world of coaching, where she helped all ages and abilities.
Following an injury herself, Ellie became interested in the prevention, treatment and recovery of injuries which led to her desire to specialise in all neuromusculoskeletal conditions- made possible through her Sports Therapy degree from The University of Chichester.
Along the way, Ellie’s interest in Women’s Health also grew and she based her dissertation around the affiliation between a woman’s cycle and the risk of injury – an up and coming topic within today’s industry which Ellie hopes to highlight and support all women with.
Ellie also has several years’ worth of clinical experience where her skill set expands from the gym floor to the treatment rooms. Here she can aid you in the assessment and diagnosis of injuries/conditions offering soft tissue massage and manipulation techniques; manual therapy; electrotherapy; neuromusculoskeletal therapy to the spine.
Without fail, you will ALWAYS be greeted with a warm smile from Ellie…but don’t let that fool you as she can be “cruel to be kind” within the treatment rooms!
No problem is too big nor too small for Ellie as she offers a listening ear and a safe and friendly environment to all.
